
Lead Assembler (Temporary – On Going Need)

Overview
Creative Electronics and Software (CES) is a privately owned (started in 1989) Contract Electronics and PCB Manufacturer with manufacturing locations in South Elgin IL and Las Vegas NV. We support a diversified customer base that includes: RFID, energy conservation, medical equipment, military, wireless telemetry, gaming & entertainment, smart grid, and industrial controls.
Summary
Level II Lead Assembler/General Production must have the ability to lead a production team in an assembly work cell and special projects. This requires assigning duties and assisting with training for the production team to meet quality standards and completion deadlines.
Duties and Responsibilities
Train and lead a production team in an assembly cell that requires electronic & mechanical assembly, pcb assembly testing, and box build
Work on special projects assigned by the Production Supervisor and the Production Manager
Enforce quality and safety regulations
Fill in and cover for employees that are on vacation or absent for any reason
Notify the Production management team when problems arise or if there are issues with machines being down, broken equipment, etc.
Job Knowledge, Skills, and Abilities
High School diploma or GED
Good verbal and written communication skills
Preferred at least 1-2 years of experience working in a manufacturing environment
Basic computer skills in a Microsoft OS environment (Excel, Word)
Positive attitude, detail oriented, strong leadership qualities
Ability to work well with other employees, on all levels (entry level staff to executives)
Working Condition
Must be able to lift 50 lbs
Must be able to stand for long periods of time
Must be able to withstand changes in temperature

This is an on-going need but the selected person will be employed via CES’ staffing partner and not an employee of CES.
Starting Pay Range: $17 - $20 per hour
