
Flexographic AndOr Digital Press Operator

Position Summary
We are seeking an experienced Flexographic or Digital Label Press Operator to join our production team. The ideal candidate will have hands-on experience operating flexographic and/or digital printing presses, a strong understanding of print quality standards, die cutting, laminating and the ability to work efficiently in a fast-paced manufacturing environment.
Key Responsibilities
Set up, operate, and maintain printing presses
Monitor print quality and make adjustments to ensure consistency and accuracy
Read and interpret job orders, specifications, and production schedules
Manage color consistency throughout production runs
Perform routine maintenance and troubleshoot press equipment issues
Ensure proper material usage and minimize waste
Maintain a clean and safe work environment in compliance with company policies
Collaborate with team members and supervisors to meet production goals and deadlines
Qualifications
Minimum of 2–5 years of experience operating flexographic or digital printing presses
Strong mechanical aptitude and problem-solving skills
Knowledge of printing substrates, die cutting, laminating, varnishes, inks, plates, and anilox systems
Ability to identify and correct print defects
Experience with digital web printing technology is a plus
Ability to work independently and as part of a team
Strong attention to detail and commitment to quality
Willingness to work flexible shifts, including overtime if needed
Preferred Skills
Familiarity with flexographic and/or digital printing systems and workflows
Experience with preventative maintenance programs
Basic computer skills for job tracking and reporting
Work Environment
This role operates in a manufacturing/production setting with exposure to machinery, noise, and ink materials. The position requires standing for extended periods and lifting materials as needed. Occasional overtime may be offered.
