We are seeking a dedicated and experienced Massage Therapist to join our wellness team.
In this role, you will be responsible for delivering professional, therapeutic and rejuvenating massage therapies to our clients.
A successful Massage Therapist must have a thorough knowledge of various massage modalities, possess excellent customer service skills and be able to communicate effectively with clients to understand their needs and explain treatments.
Responsibilities
Perform professional quality massage therapy sessions
Design specific sessions based on client’s individual needs
Ensure the comfort of clients during massages
Maintain a clean, relaxing, and comfortable environment
Educate clients about the benefits of massages as part of their overall wellness program
Keep accurate records of treatments provided to clients
Adhere to all company policies and procedures
Build relationships with clients to encourage repeat business
Educate clients on self-care practices to enhance treatment benefits
Stay updated on massage therapy techniques, certifications, and industry standards
Align services with client satisfaction and wellness goals
Communicate treatment details and client feedback to supervisors
Qualifications
Proven work experience as a Massage Therapist
Knowledge of various massage modalities, including Swedish, Deep Tissue, Sports Massage, etc
Excellent customer service skills
Ability to assess client needs and preferences to provide appropriate treatments
Understanding of health and wellness benefits of massage therapy uses touch and specialized techniques to relieve pain, reduce stress, and improve circulation in clients.
They assess individual needs and tailor treatments to promote relaxation and physical well-being.
Certification from an accredited school of massage
Valid state license AND/OR certification in massage therapy to practice massage therapy
Familiarity with spa or healthcare industry standards
