Overview
Woodland Veterinary Hospital is growing, and we're looking for a Veterinary Technician Assistant to join our team! We are looking for someone with a strong background in patient care and handling who enjoys working closely with clients and their pets.

Responsibilities

Assist with patient restraint and setting up for procedures.

Keep the treatment area clean and organized throughout the day.

Take radiographs, assist in surgery, draw blood, administer injections, process laboratory samples, and care for hospitalized patients.

Provide compassionate care in a collaborative, fast‑paced environment.

Schedule
This is a full‑time position with 8‑hour shifts scheduled throughout the week, including weekends.

Compensation and Benefits

Compensation: $20–25 per hour, for each hour worked.

Bonus package: $500 for those with 3+ years of consecutive, current experience.

Minimum Qualifications and Skill Set

3+ years of veterinary experience in a clinical setting.

Proficiency in the following skills:

Gentle handling and restraint.

Venipuncture and sample collection.

Administering SQ injections.
