Your Role on the Team
Position Summary: Performs diagnostic x-ray medical procedures and C-Arm procedures for the neonatal, infant, pediatric, adolescent, adult and geriatric patient. Prepares room and patient station and assists radiologists in fluoroscopic procedures. Ensures proper charges are captured on a daily basis. In addition, may be required to perform other duties as assigned. Under general direction performs a variety of radiographic procedures, and has a skilled technical level requiring the ability to apply prescribing imaging radiation for diagnosis. Performs related work as required. Some special procedures which requires the use of complex equipment occasionally. Directs and supervises quality control in the department. Reports to the Director of Imaging Services or designee of the department.

What It Takes to be Successful
Required Qualifications:

Education: Completion of a 24-month School of Radiologic Technology that is ARRT Recognized.

Experience - CRT in Radiologic Technology and Fluoroscopy required.

Hospital Mandatory Education Requirements: Orientation, Environment of Care, OSHA, Infection Control, Abuse/Neglect, and Ethics.

Tuberculosis Screening, Licensure renewal, BLS.

Must possess the skill, knowledge and ability essential to the successful performance of assigned duties.

Must demonstrate customer service skills appropriate to the job.

Excellent written and verbal communication skills in English.

Ability to maintain a work pace appropriate to the workload.

Ability to establish and maintain effective working relationships across the Health System.

Preferred Qualifications:

ARRT Certification in Radiologic Technology preferred.

One year experience in hospital setting preferred.

Knowledge of University and medical center organizations, policies, procedures and forms.
