The Pay
Pay: $17.40–$34.00 an hour depending on experience, license, knowledge and education.

Some specialties may include a sign‑on bonus and monthly productivity bonus averaging an extra $40–$1,000 added to your pay each month.

Essential Functions

Demonstrate the values and guiding principles of Our Promise each day, performing with the highest standards of excellence, integrity and ethics.

Respond to emergency or crisis‑related requests from individuals and/or agencies and provide appropriate care and services.

Conduct comprehensive clinical screens and assessments as part of the intake and diagnostic process, ongoing provision of services and/or crisis intervention.

Develop and provide complex client‑centered treatment and intervention plans based on evidence‑based practices that address the clinical needs of individuals in single or multiple areas of focus.

Network with community partners to research and coordinate a variety of resources and services to address comprehensive, intensive or long‑term individual needs.

Complete and submit clinical documentation regarding services provided; evaluate and document client’s progress; monitor the quality and effectiveness of services provided.

Provide outreach, education, and training to staff, partner agencies, and community, to promote OhioGuidestone programs and services.

Work as part of a multi‑disciplinary team and maintain effective working relationships with law enforcement, criminal justice professionals, social service agencies, and any other organizations involved in the delivery of services.

Demonstrate positive leadership, promote an inclusive work environment and present the Agency in the most positive light with all internal and external contacts.

Exhibit positivity, flexibility and a willingness to take on new responsibilities as requested or required.

Education & Experience

Bachelor’s degree in Social Work, Counseling, or another related Human Services field. Master’s degree preferred.

Current licensure in the state of Ohio (LSW, LPC or LMFT).

Three or more years of experience in behavioral health care, working with individuals with mental illness and/or substance use disorders.

Strong knowledge base of community providers and resources to include behavioral and physical health care, housing, transportation, employment/academic supports and other social service agencies.

Qualifications

Effective oral and written communication skills.

Ability to provide client‑centered, evidence‑based clinical interventions.

Ability to maintain clarity of thought and take action in emergency situations.

Ability to assess and organize complex information regarding a client’s needs to ensure appropriate provision of care.

Effective interpersonal skills to communicate and encourage collaboration among therapeutic team members.

Ability to travel to assigned sites and/or transport clients as requested or required.

Bi‑lingual: Spanish‑speaking, reading, writing skills preferred.

Ability to work assigned shifts to provide coverage for a 24/7 program, including holidays and weekends.
