Abbott’s clinical specialist in Structural Heart focuses on the Amplatzer Congenital offering for atrial septal defects, patent ductus arteriosus, ventricular septal defects, and patent foramen ovale. The role provides clinical and sales support, educating physicians, staff, and patients, and offers procedural coverage across a defined region.
What You’ll Work On
Collaborate with Territory Managers to provide good case coverage and clinical outcomes for patients.
Serve as primary resource for clinical support in surgical coverage, troubleshooting and in-service education.
Educate customers on the merits and proper clinical usage of company products and inform them of the latest product, therapy and technology developments.
Actively engage in clinical, procedural and technical discussions and link data outcome to key messaging.
Meet with existing and potential clients to identify their clinical needs, goals and constraints related to patient care and provide creative and feasible solutions.
Strong clinical orientation with the ability to influence a variety of clinician personality types.
Required Qualifications
BS/BA or equivalent experience.
9+ years of related cardiovascular work experience; 3+ years of which in Structural Heart or Electrophysiology specific clinical experience.
Verification of meeting all vendor credentialing requirements (including COVID-19 vaccination if applicable).
Preferred Qualifications
Degree in life sciences or medical training (RN, EMT, Perfusion, etc.).
Strong clinical orientation, experience with products for interventional cardiology and cardiac surgery, familiarity with echo cardiology and other indirect imaging.
Base pay: $78,000 – $156,000. Travel may exceed 50%.
