What You'll Do as a Case Manager
Complete client assessments to identify needs and strengths
Develop individualized care plans and update them as clients progress
Coordinate services, resources, and community support
Collaborate with clinicians, treatment teams, and other professionals
Monitor client progress and maintain accurate documentation
Help clients problem‑solve barriers and build essential life skills
Communicate effectively with clients, families, and team members
Approach every interaction with empathy, professionalism, and a client‑centered mindset
Qualifications
Applicants must meet ONE of the following:
Note: Applicants under the "working toward SUDC or SSW" pathway must obtain their SUDC or SSW license within 24 months of hire.
Bachelor's degree with Social Service Worker (SSW) license or Substance Use Disorder Counselor (SUDC/LASUDC)
Bachelor's degree in any field with willingness to pursue SSW or SUDC/LASUDC licensure
Additional Requirements
Valid driver's license
Basic understanding of Social Work principles
Familiarity with social welfare policy and human development
Ability to problem‑solve and maintain a client‑centered approach
Spanish speakers may qualify for increased wages after testing

Employment at Wasatch Behavioral Health is contingent upon successful completion of a drug screen, motor vehicle record review and criminal background check. After hire you must complete and receive a Criminal Background Clearance (BCI) from Utah State Office of Licensing. Upon receipt of a conditional offer of employment in the position, you must provide an official copy of licensure or certification.
