Electrical Calibration Operator

You will be working as an Electrical Calibration Operator for a leading Defence and Aerospace manufacturing company. The role focuses on routine calibration and maintenance of Special To Type Test Equipment (STTE) and Commercial Off-The-Shelf (COTS) testing gear, supporting the Operations team in a multi-disciplined environment.
Responsibilities
Work within a cross-functional team to support production operations.
Carry out initial, routine, and maintenance calibrations of test and measurement equipment.
Ensure both factory and proprietary test equipment are maintained according to current procedures.
Perform calibration and repair tasks following departmental processes.
Generate clear, traceable calibration and maintenance records.
Qualifications & Experience
Approved Electrical/Electronic apprenticeship or equivalent NVQ Level 3.
Experience calibrating COTS or Special-to-Type test equipment.
Hands-on experience with electrical measuring devices such as power supplies, multimeters, oscilloscopes, function generators, etc.
Experience in in-service inspection and testing of electrical equipment.
Competence in following manufacturer instructions and procedures.
Preference for knowledge of SAP.
Completion of City & Guilds part 2 & 3, or ONC/HNC in Electronics.
Experience working in Environmental Stress Screening (ESS) facilities.
