Key Responsibilities
Process and generate customer bills accurately and in a timely manner
Prepare journal entries related to billing adjustments
Communicate with customers regarding billing questions or corrections
Create and send itemized invoices and statements
Verify data such as purchase orders, sales tickets, and charge slips prior to billing
Record payments and update customer accounts
Reconcile accounts and assist with account balancing
Investigate and resolve billing discrepancies and disputes
Maintain accurate billing records and documentation
Monitor outstanding balances and send payment reminders as needed
Qualifications
High school diploma or equivalent required
Previous billing, clerical, or administrative experience preferred
Basic proficiency in Microsoft Excel (data entry, simple formulas)
Strong attention to detail and organizational skills
Excellent communication and customer service abilities
Ability to handle confidential information with professionalism
