Information Management Intern
We are currently looking for an Information Management Intern to join our team in Huntsville, AL or Colorado Springs, CO. (Remote allowed)

Responsibilities
As an Information Management Intern, you will play a critical role in documenting and refining our data management (DM) processes and playbooks. You will work closely with experienced professionals to create comprehensive documentation that outlines workflows, best practices, and guides related to data management within our organization. You will develop hands‑on experience in information management and contribute to the documentation of data management processes.

The intern will learn from experienced professionals and work closely with seasoned data management experts and gain insights into best practices and industry trends.

The intern will assist in documenting data management processes, workflows, and best practices. The intern will collaborate with team members to create and maintain playbooks that serve as guides for data management activities. Together with the Digital Data Management team, you will help create user-friendly documentation that is accessible to various stakeholders within the organization. You will help maintain a centralized repository for documentation, ensuring it is organized and easily accessible.

The intern will assist in developing and delivering training materials to promote the adoption and understanding of data management practices. The intern will also identify opportunities to enhance documentation and suggest improvements to streamline data management processes.

Qualifications

Currently pursuing a degree in Information Management, Data Science, Business Administration, or a related field.

Strong written and verbal communication skills, with the ability to convey complex concepts in a clear and concise manner.

Proficiency in documentation tools (e.g., Microsoft Word, Confluence, SharePoint)

Excellent organizational skills and attention to detail.

Strong interpersonal and collaboration skills, with the ability to work effectively in a team environment.

Ability to work multiple projects in parallel.

Desired Skills

Familiarity with data management concepts, processes, and best practices is a plus.

Familiarity with data visualization tools (e.g., Tableau, Power BI)

Familiarity with Microsoft SharePoint

Clearance:

Ability to obtain/maintain a US government security clearance.

Citizenship:

US Citizenship is needed for most positions.
