We are seeking a Registered Dietitian Nutritionist (RD/RDN) who can meet the following criteria:
Possesses experience in
CKD, ESRD, oncology and/or maternal nutritional counseling
Licensed by the Nutrition and Dietetics Practice Board of
North Carolina, Texas, New Mexico, Massachusetts, Maryland, Pennsylvania, Alabama and/or Georgia
Registered Dietitian by the Commission of Dietetics Registration (CDR)
Willing to obtain and maintain state licenses as assigned
Responsibilities
Our Registered Dietitians provide medical nutrition therapy (MNT) to patients with various conditions such as those with cancer or high-risk pregnancies. Day-to-day responsibilities include, but are not limited to the following:
Provide virtual, patient-centered nutrition assessments, virtual counseling, and nutrition recommendations based on patients’ specific needs, preferences, and evidence-based research.
Provide patient support and oversight on an ongoing basis
Managing your schedule to meet business needs
Document each patient encounter objectively and concisely and complete in a timely manner.
Utilize the Agilix Health technology and other electronic medical records as appropriate
Collaborate with other health professionals, as appropriate
Participate in company meetings with team members and other internal departments to ensure a collaborative environment
Perform other duties, as assigned
Job Skills, Experience, & Qualifications
BS degree in nutrition, dietetics, or related subject, MS degree a plus
Registered Dietitian – Commission on Dietetic Registration - required
Licensed Dietitian in the State of North Carolina, New Mexico, TX, FL, Alabama, and/or GA
Candidate should be open to becoming licensed/certified in other states
1-3 years experience counseling patients strongly preferred
Computer proficiency (Microsoft 365) is required. Also, must demonstrate strong ability to learn new applications.
Experience in Oncology and/or Women's health/ Maternal nutritional counseling, strongly preferred
Exceptional interpersonal skills with the ability to communicate and relate to a diverse group of patients, colleagues, and other professionals
Comfortable providing comprehensive nutrition education and counseling to patients to achieve desired goals
Ability to work independently. This is a REMOTE position, and as a result, you must be self-directed.
Take initiative when it comes to prioritizing work, meeting deadlines, and adapting to fast-changing situations
Experience with or openness to working in a start-up environment; each day may be different!
Someone who thinks critically and is solution-oriented
