The Role
We're looking for a
Union Carpenter Foreman
to lead field operations on commercial construction projects in the Los Angeles area. This is a hands‑on leadership role for someone who knows the work, leads from the front, and takes pride in delivering high‑quality results.
You'll be responsible for running crews, coordinating work in the field, and ensuring projects stay on schedule, on budget, and above standard.
What You'll Do
Lead and supervise carpentry crews on active job sites
Plan daily and weekly work to meet project schedules
Oversee metal stud framing, drywall installation, and finishing work
Read and interpret blueprints, layouts, and project specifications
Coordinate with Project Managers and Superintendents to keep work moving
Ensure all work is performed safely and in compliance with jobsite standards
Maintain quality control and hold crews accountable for workmanship
What You Bring
Strong experience in
metal stud framing and drywall systems
Proven ability to
run crews and manage field production
Ability to read and execute from
plans and specifications
Skilled in the use of
hand and power tools
Solid understanding of
jobsite safety and union work environments
Strong communication and leadership skills
Compensation & Benefits
Union wage:
$55.24/hour (per applicable union scale)
