Role Description
This is a full‑time, on‑site role for a Union Carpenter Foreman located in LA, CA. The Union Carpenter Foreman will oversee all aspects of carpentry work at job sites, including planning, scheduling, and supervising a team of carpenters. Day‑to‑day responsibilities involve managing framing, finish carpentry, and the use of power and hand tools, ensuring all tasks are completed safely, efficiently, and with high‑quality standards. The role requires collaboration with project managers and adherence to project timelines and safety protocols.
Qualifications
Proficiency in metal stud framing, drywall, with practical experience in both areas.
Strong skills in Framing and the ability to interpret blueprints and technical drawings.
Experience using Power Tools and Hand Tools safely and effectively.
Proven leadership and team management experience in a construction setting.
Commitment to workplace safety and adherence to industry standards.
Knowledge of construction codes and regulations is a plus.
High school diploma or GED; additional certifications in carpentry or construction management are a bonus.
