Carpenters Needed – Steel Stud Experience Required
Location:
Rochester, MN (Southern MN job sites)
Pay:
$20–$30/hr (DOE)
We’re hiring Commercial Carpenters with steel stud experience for ongoing work in the Rochester area. Great for carpenters who enjoy fast-paced commercial projects and want steady hours, competitive pay, and long-term opportunities.
About the Role
You’ll install, assemble, and secure steel stud framing systems for walls, ceilings, and partitions. Work includes blueprint reading, layout, cutting/measuring, and working alongside project managers and other trades. Occasional drywall hanging and related tasks may be included.
Daily Responsibilities
Install and assemble steel stud framing systems
Read and interpret blueprints, drawings, and specs
Measure, cut, and secure studs, tracks, and components
Work with project managers, foremen, and other trades
Follow OSHA and company safety practices at all times
Perform quality checks on framing work
Assist with drywall installation when needed
Ideal Candidate
2+ years
commercial steel stud framing experience
Able to read construction documents and layout plans
Proficient with hand tools, power tools, and steel-framing equipment
Strong safety awareness and reliable work habits
Can work independently or with a team
Has reliable transportation and can travel to Southern MN job sites
