Summary

The Parts Clerk requires daily interaction with customers, prospects, vendors and coworkers to accomplish supply of material items needed to support a remanufacturing operation and a vehicle service department. Administrative tasks that are required to manage inventory, perform job costing and general office administration accompany these responsibilities.
Essential Duties and Responsibilities

Follows all policies and procedures
Preparing all purchase orders
Phone sales/Parts over the counter
Set and manage reorder levels on all inventory & shop supplies
Pull parts for mechanics
Enter parts to repair orders, perform job costing
Ensure the cleanliness of the stock room
Unload cores from all trucks
Inspect incoming cores
Document incoming cores - paperwork
Responsible for crediting, invoicing cores and core damage
Responsible for shipping all parts, transmissions and cores
Print repair orders and keep RO parts lists up to date
Make ID tags
Track and manage RTS warranty repairs
Invoice and ship orders- parts
Receive and stock shelves with all orders
Quote orders - for parts prices
Handle receiving and invoicing paperwork
Pick up and deliver parts, equipment, transmissions and vehicles
Follow up on parts and materials needed to complete assigned tasks
Complete sales orders for corresponding completed repairs
Schedule teardown of cores to fill existing and forecasted orders
Schedule all repairs to be performed
Ensure all parts and materials are available as needed to complete repairs scheduled
Ensure paperwork is completed properly and in a timely manner
Shipping and receiving via UPS/USPS/Freight load
Organized record keeping or some filing may be required
Other duties may be assigned

Education and/or Experience

High school diploma or general education degree (GED) desired
Clean driving record
Company forklift certification
2 years Administrative and Inventory Control
Language Skills

Good reading, writing, and verbal skills
