
Walmart Compliance & Testing Coordinator

Submit testing requests for new products, annual testing, and product changes to meet Walmart and regulatory requirements
Coordinate sample submissions between suppliers and third-party labs to ensure timely delivery and accurate representation
Review and assist in approving testing quotations to ensure alignment with budget and scope
Prepare and complete test request forms and supporting documentation for lab submission
Coordinate third-party laboratory testing, including:
Connecting suppliers with labs
Submitting test requests
Tracking progress and timelines
Track, update, and maintain testing trackers to ensure full visibility of testing status and deadlines
Review test reports for completeness and organize records for internal documentation
Collect, review, and maintain third-party certifications (FDA, BPA, RoHS, Prop 65, etc.) to ensure compliance prior to testing
Maintain accurate compliance documentation, including test reports, certifications, and product records
Support cross-functional teams (Product Development, Packaging, Sales, and QA) by:
Communicating testing status and potential risks
Assisting with compliance-related requests
Flagging issues that may impact timelines or approvals
Assist in reviewing packaging, product information, and manuals to ensure alignment prior to testing
Help ensure all product claims and packaging statements are supported by testing and documentation
Support CAPA (Corrective Action Plan) processes by:
Assisting in documentation for test failures
Tracking corrective actions
Coordinating re-testing efforts
Assist in maintaining Walmart compliance systems, including:
Factory documentation
Retail Link updates
Compliance records
Support customer service and QA teams by:
Tracking product complaints and issues
Coordinating information collection for investigation
Assisting with follow-ups to suppliers
Establish and maintain communication with third-party labs to monitor testing timelines and resolve issues
Stay current on testing requirements and compliance standards through internal training and external resources
Skills Needed to Be Successful
Strong organizational and data management skills
Ability to manage multiple projects and meet deadlines
Strong attention to detail and follow-up skills
Ability to interpret basic technical information and communicate status clearly
Ability to collaborate across teams and time zones
Strong written and verbal communication skills
Minimum Qualifications
1–2 years of experience in:
QA / Compliance / Product Testing
Consumer goods or housewares industry preferred
Ability to work in a fast-paced environment with multiple priorities
Proficient in Microsoft Office (Excel, Word, Outlook)
Authorized to work in the United States
Preferred Qualifications
Basic knowledge of regulatory testing (chemical, labeling, product safety)
Familiarity with compliance requirements such as:
CPSIA, FDA, Prop 65, RoHS, ASTM (preferred but not required)
Experience working with suppliers or overseas teams
Experience maintaining databases or document systems
Exposure to product testing processes or lab coordination
