
Warehouse Technician (Forklift Operator) - 3rd Shift
CATALLIA MEXICAN FOODS, LLC, Eagan, MN, United States
We are currently hiring for a Warehouse Technician on 3rd shift for our warehouse team.
Hours: 11:00 pm - 7:30 a.m.
To meet operational needs, mandatory biweekly Saturday overtime will be part of our standard schedule.
Position Overview
This is a hands‑on position and will require that the individual be responsible for all aspects of the shipping, receiving and warehousing functions within the plant. This individual will be responsible for contributing to a consistent, safe, and productive work environment through participation in corporate programs.
Key Responsibilities & Essential Functions
Works with production to ensure materials are available in a timely manner.
Visually inspects and counts inbound loads to ensure quality and accuracy.
Confirms that the documentation for incoming shipments is in accordance with established guidelines.
Loads and accurately documents outbound shipments of finished product.
Rotates inventory according to first in, first out guidelines.
Maintains cleanliness and organization of dock and storage areas.
Interact with a wide variety of drivers, delivery personnel and contractors.
Previous experience in order picking, shipping and receiving, loading and unloading trucks.
Knowledge and experience in driving electric forklift – sit‑down only.
Operation of electric pallet jack.
General Responsibilities
Adheres to operational and personnel policies and procedures.
Actively participate in Food Safety and Food Defense related activities.
Perform additional duties as directed.
Education & Experience
High school graduate or equivalent.
2 years’ experience in warehouse operations (order picking, shipping and receiving, loading and unloading trucks).
Experience in a food production or manufacturing environment is a plus.
Specific Competencies
Must have a valid driver’s license and the ability to become forklift certified.
Must be able to lift 60 pounds repeatedly.
Ability to effectively communicate at all levels.
English language proficiency, both written and verbal.
Ability to complete tasks accurately and completely.
Ability to identify problems and react appropriately.
General Competencies
Ability to work alone or in teams.
Self-motivated.
Attention to detail.
Ability to multi-task.
Commitment to process improvement.
