About the Team
The Audit & Assurance team provides traditional attestation services as well as accounting and consulting on applying accounting principles. The team demonstrates deep specialization through understanding of market and business challenges and a dedication to audit quality.

Responsibilities

Run client engagements from start to finish, including financial statement preparation, engagement staffing, scheduling, budgeting, planning and related administrative functions.

Supervise, train, and mentor staff and interns on audit processes and assess staff performance for engagement reviews.

Maintain outstanding relationships with clients to increase customer happiness and work with client management and staff at all levels to provide audit services.

Identify and resolve client issues discovered during the audit process, collaborating with the audit team to find solutions.

Research and analyze financial statements and audit issues using electronic databases and audit software to review and compile financial information.

Engage key client management to collect information, resolve audit-related problems, and make recommendations for business and process improvements.

Qualifications

2+ years of recent and relevant public accounting external audit experience.

Experience working with governmental clients.

Strong organizational, social, technical, accounting and auditing skills to work efficiently with clients and staff and build positive relationships.

Experience with engagement management, reviews, and staff supervision.

Ability to multi‑task, as planning, executing, and wrapping up various engagements may need to be performed concurrently.

Ability to perform research on technical matters prior to submitting for manager review.

Must meet the education requirement for CPA certification in the aligned home office state; having a CPA license in that state is a plus.

Willingness to work additional hours as needed and travel to various client sites.

Salary
The wage range for this role takes into account a wide range of factors and is estimated at $70,600.00 – $139,800.00 per year.
