
Yard Coordinator

Overview
This position supports daily yard, shipping, and receiving operations by safely handling heavy construction equipment, aggregate equipment, and attachments. Responsibilities include equipment inspections, documentation, inventory tracking, forklift operation, and maintaining an organized, efficient yard. The role also assists with loading/unloading trucks, moving equipment in and out of shops, snow removal, and occasional deliveries to customer job sites.
Compensation
Wage: $22/hr - $26/hr.
Responsibilities
Accurate and timely completion of equipment shipping and receiving records (EMM’s).
Take in/out pictures of equipment/attachments and submit them to appropriate parties.
Verify the serial numbers of equipment and attachments and ensure information is documented.
Complete damage inspections of all equipment entering the yard.
Operate, load and unload heavy construction equipment and attachments in a safe manner.
Organize equipment for yard.
Maintain a clean and organized yard area.
Complete all paperwork required for jobs and submit to the appropriate people in a timely manner.
Perform other additional duties as directed by management.
Perform quarterly inventory reports for sales department items.
Move aggregate equipment in and out of shops with semi‑truck as needed.
Run various size forklifts (5,000 lb to 30,000 lb) daily.
Load and unload shuttle trucks daily.
Occasionally deliver sales items to customer job sites.
Obtain and maintain DOT health card (under other requirements).
Qualifications

Previous experience with the operation of heavy equipment is preferred.
Mechanical knowledge is preferred.
Requires basic computer skills.
Is willing to obtain a CDL license; it is not required.

Organizational skills with ability to manage multiple projects and tasks with focus.
Personable, highly motivated, problem‑solver, reliable, ethical.
