Role Overview
As a seasonal team member, you\'ll enjoy winters off to travel, hunt, fish, or pursue the activities you love—while still keeping your benefits all year long.
This position is responsible to maximize bituminous plant production through monitoring equipment operation and performing preventative maintenance.
Duties and/or Responsibilities
Perform daily equipment, walk around and site inspections to identify and correct any unsafe conditions and keep equipment properly maintained.
Safely and properly perform maintenance and startup of Blacktop Plant
Monitor blacktop production
Verify blacktop meets specifications
Monitor oil consumption of blacktop plant
Complete daily progress reports
Shovel excess material away from plant
Fill silo
Tear down and set up blacktop plant
Calibrate blacktop plant
Assist with repairs
Communicate effectively (verbal, listening, written) and work with difficult people under high stress situations. Self-motivated, team-player with good interpersonal skills; ability to maintain positive customer relations & act courteous/respectful of others.
Troubleshoot and problem solve situations/problems (material quality, equipment operation/repair, etc.).
Monitor and discuss production problems with co-workers and managers/supervisors
Ensure MSHA, OSHA, EPA, DNR, safety and environmental regulation compliance. Good housekeeping skills. Lockout/Tagout.
Performs other duties assigned.
Minimum Requirements
General education, grammar and arithmetic, GED or high school diploma or equivalent
Mechanical & electrical experience
Ability to provide and maintain proper licensure, medical card and acceptable driving record
Compensation
$26.00 - $33.00 per hour depending on experience.
