
Contracted Maintenance Solutions - Maintenance Technician

Summary
We are seeking a skilled and dedicated Maintenance Technician to join our Contracted Maintenance Solutions team. The ideal candidate will possess a strong background in mechanical and electrical systems, experience and skill using power tools, the ability to troubleshoot and repair various equipment and facilities. This role requires a proactive approach to maintenance, ensuring that all systems operate efficiently and effectively. The Maintenance Technician will play a crucial role in maintaining high standards of safety and functionality within our facilities. This person will also have a clean driving record and valid driver’s license to drive the company vehicle.
Job Duties
Replace burned out light bulbs in common area and entrances
Address plumbing problems
Clean light lens covers, interior and exterior
Walk roofs to collect debris, report damage (and responsible HVAC contractor)
Use webster to remove cobwebs in the corners
Clean & sweep vacant bays & any interior common spaces
Dust store front signs
Schedule and assist with HVAC check up and filter change
Coordinate store front inspections and schedule security/sprinkler/fire extinguisher checks & other inspections
Reset thermostats for current temperatures
For winter clear snow & ice from all walks (storefront and perimeter) & apply ice-melt.
Work with landscaping/mowing/snow vendors
Schedule parking lot patching, crack filling, and lot striping
Replace any damaged ceiling tile
Coordinate check up of exterior parking lot lights
Apply insecticide and set mouse traps as needed
Apply new safety paint to areas as needed (handicap areas, curbs, etc.)
Paint railings and poles
Reset parking lot light timers to match sunrise/sunset
Open/Close sprinkler system to match the season
