Travel Echocardiology Ultrasound Technologist - $2,079 per week

TNAA TotalMed Allied is seeking a travel Echo Technologist for a 13‑week assignment in Las Cruces, New Mexico.
Responsibilities:
Operate cardiac ultrasound machines, ensuring accurate imaging for physician interpretation.
Prepare and care for patients undergoing echocardiograms.
Educate patients and families about procedures.
Perform echocardiographic studies, including Doppler, color Doppler, stress echo, dobutamine, and transesophageal echo, meeting physician and benchmark standards.
Report findings or concerns to the reading physician promptly.
Process all related software steps for each completed study.
Maintain equipment: cleaning, disinfecting, troubleshooting, and reporting issues.
Maintain accurate patient records and use the McKesson PACS system.
Requirements:
1 year of experience as an Echo Technologist.
BLS certification and state‑specific licensing when required.
ARDMS‑RDCS, CCI‑RS national certification, or equivalent.
Physical ability to stand, walk, bend, lean, or stoop for prolonged periods.
Sound knowledge of anatomy, physiology, pathology, and medical terminology.
Ability to work 36 hours per week on a 13‑week assignment, with 8‑hour days.
Compensation: Pay based on 8‑hour shifts with a tax‑free stipend (amount to be determined).
