Job Description
The
Pick/Pack Associate
is responsible for accurately preparing customer orders for Less Than Truckload (LTL) shipments by securely packaging items, verifying accuracy, and ensuring compliance with shipping standards. This role supports safe and timely product delivery through attention to detail, teamwork, and adherence to safety and quality protocols.
This is a 2nd shift position.
Key Responsibilities
Work scheduled shifts Monday–Friday, typically 8–10 hours per day.
Weekend work may be required to meet customer demand.
Pack products into boxes or onto pallets, ensuring items are secured and protected during transit.
Perform a 4‑eye check to verify pick accuracy and quantities against order documentation.
Over‑box products as required to meet shipping guidelines and prevent damage.
Manifest and label shipments correctly for Parcel and LTL delivery.
Shrink wrap boxes and pallets to prevent product shifting or damage in transit.
Square/cube out pallets to maximize space utilization and ensure transport stability.
Collaborate with team members to lift heavy items (up to 100 lbs.) safely and efficiently.
Report inventory discrepancies, damages, or product quality issues to supervision.
Follow company SOPs, work instructions, and safety policies at all times.
Maintain a clean, organized, and safe work area in accordance with 5S standards.
Actively participate in cross‑training, safety meetings, and continuous improvement activities.
Understand and support daily production targets, customer service levels, and quality expectations.
Attendance and punctuality are essential functions of the position.
Qualifications
High school diploma or GED required.
Must be able to read, write, and perform basic math and counting accurately.
Basic measurement and calculation skills required for order verification.
Proven ability to lift up to 50 lbs. regularly and up to 100 lbs. with assistance.
Knowledge of various packaging materials and methods, including rigging experience preferred.
Ability to work extended hours and weekends based on operational needs with advance notice.
Comfortable working in a fast‑paced, physically demanding warehouse environment.

The U.S. base salary range for this full‑time position is $18.37 – $21.54 per hour, with pay based on experience, job knowledge, complexity, and location.
