We are looking for experienced caregivers to assist our client in Glen Ellyn on Tuesdays and Thursdays from 9am-12pm weekly. Our caregivers are not only reliable, dependable and honest, but also compassionate and caring.
Responsibilities
Assisting with personal care tasks such as bathing, grooming, dressing, bathroom needs, and feeding
Providing companionship and conversation
Performing light housekeeping tasks such as laundry and linen changing
Laying out clothes and assisting with dressing
Planning and preparing meals
Providing medication reminders
Qualifications
Ability to interpret the client’s provided plan of care
Reliable transportation
Ability to be flexible and adapt to new situations
Must be able to be reached via phone or email for shift schedules, client updates and/or emergencies
Able to lift a minimum of 25 lbs
Non‑smoker
Prior experience with dementia patients and senior care, a plus!
You will not work with ARIS at home as a certified nursing assistant (CNA, C.N.A.), but as one of the following:
Caregiver
Companion
Personal care attendant
HHA, CHHA, H.H.A.
Home health aide, home health worker, home care caregiver, homemaker
