Financial Analyst

Cherry Bekaert has partnered with a well‑established organization to identify a Financial Analyst to join their FP&A team. This is a high‑impact, hands‑on role reporting directly to the Director of FP&A and supporting multiple operational business groups.
This position is open due to internal movement and offers strong visibility, meaningful ownership, and long‑term growth within the FP&A function.
What You’ll Be Doing

Support departmental and cost‑center budgets across multiple operating teams
Assist with forecasting (monthly, quarterly, annual) for revenue and expenses
Build and maintain financial models to support business planning and decision‑making
Perform budget vs. actual variance analysis and prepare management‑ready reporting
Partner with non‑finance stakeholders to understand drivers, assumptions, and trends
Contribute to month‑end and quarter‑end analysis and reporting processes
What We’re Looking For

Bachelor’s degree in Finance, Accounting, or related field
~2–5+ years of experience in FP&A or corporate finance
Hands‑on experience putting budgets and forecasts together (ownership not required)
Strong Excel skills and working knowledge of financial modeling
Comfortable working cross‑functionally in an operating environment
Experience with planning systems or ERPs a plus (e.g., Adaptive, Workday, Yardi)
Real estate or asset‑based exposure is helpful but not required
