Bookkeeping Assistant / Accounting Assistant (Part-Time → Full-Time Opportunity) – Medford, NY
We’re hiring a

Bookkeeping Assistant / Accounting Assistant

to join our team at our

headquarters in Medford, NY . This is a

part-time bookkeeping role (25 hours/week)

with a clear path to a

full-time accounting position .

Key Responsibilities (Bookkeeping & Accounting Support)

Enter

vendor invoices (Accounts Payable)

into QuickBooks Enterprise
Review and process employee expense reports
Assist with

accounts receivable (AR)

including aging reports and collections emails
Send weekly Sales Analysis Reports to the Controller
Email Weekly Aging Reports to the sales team
Enter COIs and Tax Exemption/Resale Certificates
File vendor bills and customer invoices
Provide general office and administrative support (mail, phones, ordering lunch)
What We’re Looking For

Experience or interest in

bookkeeping, accounting, or accounting assistant roles
Strong attention to detail and organization
Ability to multitask and prioritize work
Strong written and verbal communication skills
Self-motivated and able to work independently
Qualifications

Associate’s degree or coursework in

accounting, bookkeeping, business, or office administration
Experience with

QuickBooks (QuickBooks Enterprise preferred)
Proficiency in Microsoft Excel, Word, and Outlook
Pay

$22 – $25 per hour , based on experience
Schedule

Part-time: Monday – Friday, 10:00 AM – 3:00 PM
25 hours per week to start
Some flexibility available
