Overview
We are seeking a dedicated and skilled Certified Surgical Technologist to join a dynamic healthcare team supporting our ophthalmic surgery center. The ideal candidate will play a crucial role in assisting with surgical procedures, ensuring patient safety, and maintaining a sterile environment. This position requires a strong understanding of medical terminology, anatomy, and physiology, along with the ability to work effectively in a fast-paced clinical setting.
Our employees benefit from a four-day workweek, Monday through Thursday.
Responsibilities
Assist surgeons and other medical personnel during surgical procedures by providing necessary instruments and supplies.
Prepare and maintain the sterile field, ensuring aseptic technique is followed at all times.
Ensure compliance with HIPAA regulations to protect patient confidentiality.
Maintain and track surgical instrument sets and equipment.
Sterilize surgical instruments as needed.
Assist with Inventory and freight management.
Qualifications
CST (Certified Surgical Technologist) certification is required.
Previous experience in a surgical setting or clinic environment is preferred.
Strong knowledge of anatomy, physiology, and medical terminology is essential.
Familiarity with ophthalmology practices and optical experience is a plus.
Excellent communication skills and ability to work collaboratively within a team.
Ability to handle medical records efficiently while ensuring accuracy and confidentiality.

Location: In person at 3737 W. Walnut St, Rogers, AR
Schedule: Monday – Thursday, Start as early as 5am or as late as 7am. 10 hour days.
