We are looking for a sharp, detail‑oriented
AR/AP Specialist (construction)
to serve as the financial backbone of our construction projects. This role manages the full lifecycle of project finances, from initial procurement and contract documentation to final invoicing and job costing.
Job Location: Ballwin, MO
Competitive Compensation:
Base salary plus an annual performance bonus based on accuracy, project efficiency, and overall company success.
Key Responsibilities
Financial Management:
Execute full-cycle AP/AR, including progress billing, vendor payments, and proactive collections.
Project Compliance:
Prepare and track critical construction documents, including lien waivers, insurance certificates, and change orders.
Job Costing:
Monitor project budgets, track labor/material costs, and provide monthly reconciliations to ensure profitability.
Procurement Support:
Manage material orders and coordinate with vendors to ensure timely delivery to job sites.
Stakeholder Liaison:
Primary point of contact for Project Managers and subcontractors regarding billing and contract status.
The Ideal Candidate
Industry Expertise:
At least 5+ years of experience in construction accounting or project administration.
Software Fluency:
Mastery of QuickBooks (or similar) and a high level of comfort with Excel.
Self‑Starter Mentality:
Ownership mindset to see a task through from start to finish.
Organized Under Pressure:
Ability to pivot between multiple active projects without losing track of details.
