
Production Packaging Associate - A Shift (Days)

Work Shift:
12hr-A Shift (United States of America) Rotating 12-hour Dayshift: 530am - 6:00pm, every other weekend off. $19/hr to start.
The Production/Packaging Associate II role applies moderate knowledge of proper packaging of materials and finished products. This position will also load and move material and operate packaging equipment. The Production/Packaging Associate II role will also be required to follow Good Manufacturing Practices. This role is developmental toward a full‑fledged operator role.
Responsibilities
Demonstrates Mastery of Production/Packaging Associate I skills.
Can safely and efficiently sort and separate dunnage.
Helps new Production/Packaging Associates learn job tasks.
Completes drop tests on bottles and challenges quality with any issues.
Able to clear trimmer jams and restart line.
Able to quickly identify defects and alert quality and operators of any issues.
Keep count of production numbers and properly tag finished products.
Is team oriented and works well and efficiently with others.
Able to start up blowmolder and perform basic quality checks with assistance.
Able to operate and understand automotive machinery (touchscreen -HMI).
Other duties as assigned by management.
Duties may differentiate by plant based on equipment and plant design.
Reasonable Overtime

Experience
Intermediate mathematical skills are required.
Intermediate computer experience.
One plus years' equivalent experience.
Six months experience as an Altium Production/Packaging Associate I.

Operate Pack (Most Common); Discard defects
Completion and demonstrated proficiency in PPA Skills Level II training:
Safe Work Practices Fundamentals
Professional Standards Appropriate Behavior / Managing Self
Quality Confirm inspections being performed. Support Quality department activities as needed.
Operate Pack (All lines); Tag product; Operate All other packing machinery. Print tags; Sync counts; confirm truck loads.
Education
Prefer High School diploma or general education degree (GED).
Training
Completion of Altium Production/Packaging Associate II training.

Personal protective equipment (PPE) is required in the production department and other designated areas.
