Job Description
VERSANT is looking for a Contract Talent Acquisition Coordinator - 6 month assignment to join our high-performing and fast-paced Talent Acquisition (TA) team! This individual will play a pivotal role in supporting the end-to-end recruitment process and will also be deeply involved in driving key talent acquisition projects that will help build and elevate the TA function across the organization.

What You’ll Do
Core TA Coordination Responsibilities
Own and manage all candidate interview scheduling, including virtual, phone, and on-site meetings - often coordinating across time zones and with multiple stakeholders
Act as the primary point of contact for candidates, ensuring a high-touch, seamless, and positive candidate experience
Coordinate travel arrangements and prepare interview materials as needed
Update and maintain the applicant tracking system (ATS) with precision and consistency
Escort candidates during onsite interview days and ensure all logistics run smoothly
Manage sensitive and confidential candidate information with discretion
Respond to recruiter and hiring manager requests with urgency and professionalism
Provide high-level administrative support to the TA Leader, including scheduling meetings, preparing team meeting agendas, organizing materials, and assisting with follow-ups to ensure timely execution of action items
Strategic TA Project Support
Support the creation of internal and external PowerPoint presentations for talent updates, hiring plans, quarterly business reviews (QBRs), and stakeholder briefings
Serve as a key liaison between TA and key business partners to coordinate QBRs, hiring strategy sessions, and other cross-functional meetings
Process vendor invoices, ensuring accuracy, timely submission, and budget tracking in collaboration with TA and Finance
Maintain and help drive progress on a TA team project tracker to ensure key deliverables are on time and aligned to overall priorities
Contribute to TA process improvements and other special projects as assigned
What You’ll Need
1+ years of professional work experience in a coordinator, project support, or administrative capacity
Bachelor’s degree or equivalent work experience
Desired Skills & Characteristics
Exceptionally organized and able to manage multiple priorities without losing sight of the details
Proactive self-starter who can anticipate needs, take initiative, and work independently with minimal oversight
Strong customer service mindset with the ability to communicate professionally and diplomatically at all levels
Strong PowerPoint skills and a creative eye for presentation formatting and visual storytelling
Excellent written and verbal communication skills
Comfortable working with data and numbers; able to manipulate spreadsheets and track metrics
Thrives in a fast-paced, ever-changing environment, adaptable and agile in approach
Possesses an entrepreneurial mindset - solutions-oriented, energized by new challenges, and eager to make processes better
Team player with a collaborative spirit and a strong sense of accountability
Eligibility Requirements
Must be willing and able to work on-site in the Englewood Cliffs, NJ office a minimum of 3 days/week
Must be willing and able to work overtime when required
Must be willing and able to travel for work-related business, if necessary
Salary range
$27 USD/hour with overtime eligibility
