The Prevention Program Coordinator supports the Sr. Prevention Program Manager in the coordination, implementation, supervision, and monitoring of school-based prevention services aligned with the most current OASAS Prevention Guidelines. The Prevention Program Coordinator plays a critical role in ensuring high-quality, compliant service delivery while escalating concerns to the Sr. Prevention Program Manager.
Prevention Program Manager in the coordination and implementation of evidence-based prevention programs across school and community settings.

Maintain a small caseload of students and/or provide interim support to school sites as needed.
Data Management & Compliance
Review program data weekly to ensure completeness, accuracy, and timely submission. Monitor data trends and flag compliance risks, documentation gaps, or outcome concerns to the Prevention Program Manager.
Ensure all program activities and records align with confidentiality, privacy, and regulatory requirements.
Support the development and monitoring of the agency’s OASAS workplan and ensure alignment with Prevention Guidelines.
Assist Program leadership with accreditation processes, audit reviews, site visits., internal quality assurance, CQI reviews and grant writing.
Training & Coaching
Coordinate training for Prevention Counselors including training required by funders, community partners and agency.
Provide coaching for new hires and support onboarding/orientation process.
Provide technical assistance and on-site support to Prevention Counselors to support implementation challenges and strengthen service quality including helping program leadership to identify gaps and strengthen staff skill development..
Manage inventory of program supplies, fulfill requests from staff, and order supplies as needed to support program fidelity.
Represent Contact and the School Services Department at community coalitions, conferences, school events, and professional forums.
Participate in school/community events functions (e.g. Open House, family nights, resources fair).
Master’s degree preferred in social work, mental health counseling, public health, or a related human services field.
• Demonstrated ability to supervise, coach or help develop skills and support prevention staff.
• Strong organizational, time-management, and communication skills.
• Experience with data entry, documentation review, and outcome monitoring; Skilled facilitator with experience engaging youth, families, educators, and community partners.
Must submit to and pass background checks by the Office of Mental Health, the NYS Justice Center, the NYS Department of Education, and educational verification.
• Flexible schedule required, including some evening and weekend hours.
• Ability to travel and work at different school sites and community settings.
