PROGRAM MANAGER, WHEELOCK FAMILY THEATRE, BU Arts Initiative
The College of Fine Arts seeks a Program Manager for the Wheelock Family Theatre. This position reports to the Director of Education and Community Engagement and is responsible for the administrative management, coordination, and execution of Wheelock Family Theatres education and community engagement programs. Established in 1981, Wheelock Family Theatre at Boston University has provided affordable, award-winning theatre and arts education to families across Greater Boston through a deep commitment to inclusion, access, and artistic excellence. This role ensures the smooth operation and growth of education programs, with a particular focus on the program logistics, school partnerships, the Student Matinee Series, and professional learning opportunities. The Program Manager collaborates across departments to deliver high-quality, accessible experiences for students, educators, and audiences. The position may require evening and weekend availability to support program operations.

Compensation

Salary Grade: 47

Expected Hiring Range Minimum: $62,525.00

Expected Hiring Range Maximum: $81,175.00

The salary of the finalist selected for this role will be set based on a variety of factors, including but not limited to departmental budgets, qualifications, experience, education, licenses, specialty, training and internal pay comparison. The above hiring range represents the University's good faith and reasonable estimate of the range of possible compensation at the time of posting.

Required Skills
Bachelor's degree and 3 to 5 years of experience in theatre programs.
