
Residential Therapist

UNC Horizons Program seeks a Residential Therapist to provide direct client services and supervise in a 24/7, 365‑day women’s residential treatment program for individuals with substance abuse issues and their children in Chapel Hill. Responsibilities include structured and informal individual and group client services, active participation in a residential on‑call system, and collaboration within a treatment team environment.
Bachelor’s degree in a Human Services discipline with related coursework.
Certification or licensure as a Clinical Social Worker, Licensed Clinical Social Worker (LCSW), Licensed Clinical Social Worker – Advanced (LCSW‑A), Licensed Professional Clinical Counselor (LPC), LPC‑A, Licensed Professional Alcohol Counselor (LPA), Licensed Master of Counseling (LMHC), or LMHC‑A is preferred.
Experience in a women’s residential substance abuse program and trauma‑informed environment is preferred.
Must be able to ascend/descend stairs and hold a valid North Carolina driver’s license.
Position Schedule: Evening work occasionally, Night work occasionally, On‑call occasionally, Overtime occasionally, Weekend work occasionally.
