Overview
Our client, a leading organization in the medical device/pharmaceutical manufacturing industry, is seeking a Rebranding Production Planner to join their team onsite (LOCAL ONLY) in Irvine, CA. In this role, you will be part of the Supply Chain Department supporting cross-functional teams. The ideal candidate will demonstrate strong analytical skills, excellent organizational abilities, and proactive communication, which will align successfully in the organization.

Pay Range:
$33.50/HR + Benefits
Contract Duration:
12-Month W2 Contract, extension possible up to 3 years (NO C2C)
Responsibilities
Oversee and execute updates to Bills of Materials (BOMs) to reflect necessary changes, ensuring accuracy and timely implementation across product lines.
Develop and manage comprehensive Phase In/Phase Out (PIPO) plans, coordinating inventory transitions and production schedules to minimize disruptions.
Implement scrap minimization strategies, track progress, and report on waste reduction efforts to optimize resource utilization.
Support production scheduling and procurement activities, managing purchase orders and ensuring a steady supply of materials during product transitions.
Conduct planning analyses to support decision-making, providing insights on inventory performance, risks, and mitigation strategies.
Required Qualifications
Bachelor's degree in Supply Chain, Operations, Business Management, Engineering, or a related field.
Minimum of two years of experience in a manufacturing environment with hands-on supply chain planning, production scheduling, or procurement.
Proficiency with Microsoft Excel and advanced data analysis skills.
Experience with ERP/MRP systems such as SAP, IMES, or Oracle; familiarity with SAP S/4HANA is a plus.
Strong analytical, organizational, and communication skills, with the ability to present complex data clearly and confidently.
