2 years of experience with a secondary/AA/AS degree
4-6 years of experience with HS degree
Ability to obtain a secret clearance
Experience working from drawings, diagrams, customer specifications, schematics and/or test procedures to diagnose and analyze problems utilizing a variety of test equipment
Working knowledge of electronic Theory relating to RF transmission, receivers’ circuits, analog and digital circuitry
The ability to troubleshoot RF/Digital circuits to the component level; Advanced experience with Test equipment, i.e., signal generators, oscilloscopes, power meters, spectrum analyzers, and RF equipment
Experience working under a microscope and with small tools
Experience/Knowledge of J-STD-001, IPC-610 (Soldering)
Able to use computers and MS Word and office proficiently
Job Description
Day to Day: A client in the defense industry is looking for a Manufacturing/RF Technician to join their team. This person will be responsible for performing functions associated with all manufacturing operations, including working with engineers in set-up and calibration tasks, as well as performing rework and quality testing related to the production of parts, components, subassemblies, and final assemblies. Determines and may assist in developing methods and procedures to control or modify the manufacturing process.
