Overview

We are seeking a detail-oriented

Payroll Assistant

to support our payroll and benefits operations for a workforce of approximately

250+ employees . This is a

temp-to-hire

opportunity ideal for someone with hands-on payroll experience who is looking to grow within a stable team.
Responsibilities

Assist with processing payroll for 250+ employees
Review and adjust employee timesheets for accuracy and compliance
Support payroll deposits (experience is a plus)
Assist with open enrollment activities and employee benefits support
Handle month-end medical billing processes
Respond to payroll and timekeeping-related inquiries
Qualifications

Previous experience assisting with payroll processing
Strong attention to detail and accuracy
Experience reviewing and adjusting timesheets
Familiarity with payroll deposits is a plus
Experience with payroll software preferred, but not required
Ability to work independently and meet deadlines
Position Details

Type: Temp-to-hire
Location: Monrovia, CA
Schedule: Full-time
Pay 25-33/hr, fully onsite. Seeking candidates that can start immediately.
