Overview
Appleone is currently seeking a Certified Engineering Geologist (CEG) for a stable engineering firm. This role will support our Geotechnical Engineering and Construction Testing & Inspection teams. This is an excellent opportunity for a passionate Geologist that values professional development and excellence.
Responsibilities
Conduct geological site investigations and provide detailed reports
Assess geological hazards and provide foundation recommendations for engineering designs
Perform field mapping, subsurface exploration and lab analysis of soil samples
Develop erosion control plans and advise on environmental impact considerations
Collaborate with engineers, contractors, and regulatory agencies to ensure compliance with local, state, and federal regulations
Qualifications
Education: BS/MS in Geology, Engineering Geology or related field
Experience: 5+ years in engineering, project management, or related field
Skills: Strong knowledge of California geology, seismic risk assessment, and environmental regulations
