We are currently hiring
Direct Support Professionals
to assist residents with developmental disabilities with activities of daily living in a residential setting.
Responsibilities
Assist and/or supervise in activities of daily living skills
Administer or assist with prescribed medication
Light housekeeping
Assist with transportation
Assist in the implementation of individual goals and objectives
Data entry using Therap (EHR)
Assist residents in the pursuit of recreational, social, and community activities based on their preferences and individual plans
Qualifications
HS diploma or equivalent
A valid driver\'s license in good standing and must be insurable through NJID\'s automobile insurance
Strong communication skills
NO certification required
Position Details
Location: Piscataway
County: Middlesex
Hours Per Work Week: 16
Weekly Work Schedule: Sat. & Sun. 10am-6pm
Other shifts are available at this location. NJID has full-time, part-time, and per diem opportunities in Middlesex, Monmouth, Ocean, and Somerset Counties.
