About the Role

The Company is seeking a Chief Marketing Officer (CMO) to join their team. The CMO will be responsible for building and executing the go-to-market strategy for various aspects, including features, partnerships, content, and markets. This role involves defining and elevating the brand across all channels, leading content and community initiatives, and owning paid acquisition and performance. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in consumer app marketing, with a focus on brand building, and be adept at scaling full-funnel growth through analytical and experimental approaches. The CMO will also be expected to partner closely with the product team, hire and lead the marketing team, and manage the marketing budget and external partners.

Applicants for the CMO position at the company should have a minimum of 8 years' experience in consumer app marketing, with at least 4 years in a senior leadership role. The role requires a proven track record in building or repositioning a consumer brand, as well as fluency in content and editorial strategies that drive conversion. Deep experience in paid media and programmatic marketing, particularly with DSPs, social, and search, is essential. The successful candidate will be an analytical operator, with a strong understanding of key metrics such as CAC, LTV, re-engagement, and retention. A global perspective, including experience in localizing and scaling marketing efforts in new markets, is also a key requirement. The CMO should be a hands-on, startup-speed executor, capable of leading a team and driving the company's marketing efforts to the next level.
