
Visual and Social Media Specialist

To help promote the vision of Hebron, as we follow Jesus and His Word, by Managing Social Media strategy, designing digital graphics for social, emails, screens, and website, designing booklets, pamphlets, brochures, etc., and helping maintain visual branding for Hebron Church in collaboration with the Communications Director with the goal of seeing the gospel advance in and through our ministries, our congregation, and our community.
JOB DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES
Capture, edit, and produce high-quality videos to share the story of how God is working in and through Hebron Church (reels, testimonials, event promos, etc.). This includes creating weekly reels and building a social media library of content we can use throughout the year.
Edit the sermon recording weekly and make available on various platforms.
Oversee the weekly Facebook live.
Manage Hebron’s various social media accounts (Hebron and ministry-specific) and maintain a monthly schedule that is flexible to changes.
Follow and protect Hebron’s Brand.
Research and propose new strategies for social media, app, and website usage that seek to increase engagement on Hebron’s platforms.
Provide input on and contribute ideas for upcoming projects in consultation with the Communications Director.
Take photos that help build a library for Hebron’s use on social, web, app, and other Communications or promotional needs.
Help manage and update Hebron’s app and website with content such as, but not limited to, feature articles, photos, featured events, wording changes, etc.
Bonus: Help create graphics, booklets, pamphlets, brochures, as needed
Other administrative duties as assigned, including but not limited to, cash transmittals, entering invoices, purchasing materials, event support, etc.
QUALIFICATIONS
Except as noted below, all employees are required to be members of Hebron Baptist Church and are expected, along with their family members, to be active in the various ministries of Hebron. All employees who are members are required to be sacrificial and cheerful givers to the Lord’s work through Hebron Baptist Church.
Prior experience in ministry and communications, degree in communications, journalism, or similar field is desirable.
Excellent interpersonal skills
Effective oral and written communicator
Ability to maintain and respect confidentiality
Knowledge of Adobe programs
Must be detail oriented and work well with deadlines
Excellent customer service skills
Must be able to pass a criminal background check and a credit check
Must pass pre-employment drug screen; educational, criminal, financial and sexual misconduct background checks
Every employee of Hebron Baptist Church must be equipped to share their Christian testimony, to pray, and to minister to those in need.
Employees must adhere to Hebron’s Statement of Faith. Personal conduct must be in accordance with biblical standards as applicable for this position
Must be willing to become a member of Hebron Baptist Church
