Role Description
This is a full-time hybrid role for a Venue Sourcing Specialist based in New York, NY, with some flexibility for remote work. The Venue Sourcing Specialist will manage the end-to-end process of venue sourcing for a diverse range of events. Responsibilities include identifying, evaluating, and recommending venues that meet client needs, negotiating contracts with vendors, maintaining strong relationships with venue partners, and staying up-to-date with the latest event trends and locations. xywuqvp The role also involves liaising with clients to understand their requirements and delivering exceptional customer service to ensure successful event execution.
Qualifications
Strong sales and analytical skills for evaluating venue options and assessing their suitability for client needs
Excellent communication & negotiation skills, including active listening and clear correspondence with clients and vendors
Proven experience in contract negotiation and vendor management
Skills in recruiting and developing relationships with vendors and venue partners
Experience in procurement processes within the event planning industry
Ability to adapt to both in-office and remote work environments
Previous experience in corporate or private event planning is a plus
Can-do attitude, positive work ethics and driven to meet ad axceed targets
Bachelor’s degree or equivalent experience in Hospitality, Business, Event Management, or a related field
