MINISO USA is seeking a Product Developer & Graphic Designer for the Toys & Hardlines business. This person will ensure high-quality product development across the following U.S. categories: collectibles including vinyl plush, blind boxes, plush, electronics and technology. The role is responsible for moving concepts from initial design to final production, ensuring the development translates into products that resonate with our audience.


You have a thorough understanding of the toy product design‑development processes.


Key Capabilities



  • Strong ability to ideate, sketch, illustrate, and generate rough models.

  • Thorough understanding of final modeling and production techniques.

  • Clear understanding of the toy industry and entertainment sector, with familiarity of toys past and present.

  • Strategic design thinker: able to contribute and execute on product design vision, bring fresh POV with innovative concepts, and deeply understand how to design for the target consumer.

  • Visual designer: create visual language that suits our core audience and narrate stories within product design.

  • Excellent communicator: present to audiences of varying sizes, distill concepts into clear narratives, and garner buy-in through multiple mediums.

  • Collaborator: leverage consumer insights and trends to identify opportunities and analyze parent and child purchase behaviors; manage external partners, provide feedback on 2D/3D submissions, and partner with cross‑functional teams in Marketing, Packaging, Engineering, and Product Management.

  • Adaptable and nimble: adapt quickly to new design challenges, pivot and revise projects and strategy when necessary.


Technical Proficiency



  • Proficiency in Adobe Creative Suite (Illustrator, Photoshop).

  • Expertise in 3D modeling software and strong sketching ability.

  • In-depth knowledge of manufacturing processes, materials, and consumer product safety standards.

  • Full product development lifecycle experience: from initial concept and design to comprehensive tech packs.

  • Extensive manufacturing experience with a high proficiency in materials and technical construction.


Qualifications



  • 5+ years of professional experience in Product Design Development (required).

  • Bachelor’s or Associate’s degree.

  • Overseas travel required.


Salary


USD $75,000.00 - USD $95,000.00 /Yr.
