I’m working with a well-established commercial GC that delivers high-quality interiors and healthcare projects across New York and New Jersey. They’ve built a solid reputation in the market, especially within corporate interiors and healthcare fit-outs, and work closely with some top clients, architects, and real estate groups from early design through to completion.
The Role
This is a key position within their preconstruction team. You’ll be responsible for putting together accurate estimates across a mix of commercial interiors and healthcare projects.
Day to day, that includes:
Putting together conceptual and hard bid estimates
Carrying out take-offs and cost analysis
Managing subcontractor bids and leveling
Supporting value engineering and budgets through design stages
Working closely with PMs, clients, and design teams
What They’re Looking For
Experience estimating commercial interiors and/or healthcare projects in NYC (this is essential)
Good understanding of the local subcontractor market and pricing
Comfortable running estimates independently
Experience across precon, budgeting, and bid stages
Familiar with estimating software and take-off tools
