Corporate Controller
Location:
Cos Cob, CT (5 days onsite)
Compensation:
Up to $200K base DOE + ~$150K bonus potential
Position Overview
A publicly traded, multi-entity organization is seeking a Corporate Controller to lead its accounting function during a period of growth and transformation. This is a highly visible role reporting to the CFO, with ownership over consolidations, SOX compliance, and financial reporting, along with involvement in M&A and system enhancements.
Key Responsibilities
Lead all accounting operations, including consolidations and eliminations
Oversee SOX compliance and ensure strong internal controls
Manage month-end, quarter-end, and year-end close processes
Support public company reporting and audit readiness
Partner on M&A activity and integration of new entities
Drive ERP and process improvements across the finance function
Prepare materials and present to executive leadership and board
Qualifications
CPA required
Big 4 background
Public company experience
Strong expertise in SOX, consolidations, and technical accounting
Experience with M&A and/or system implementations
Ideal Candidate
Executive presence with ability to interact at the board level
Hands-on leader who can build and improve processes
High-drive, proactive, and solutions-oriented
Thrives in a fast-paced, evolving environment
