Job Description
We are seeking a detail-oriented Senior Accountant to support financial reporting, internal controls, and compliance activities within a growing, publicly traded environment. This is a newly created role resulting from recent organizational growth and acquisition activity. The Senior Accountant will play a key role in supporting U.S. GAAP reporting requirements, SOX compliance, and ongoing internal control initiatives while partnering closely with leadership and cross‑functional teams.
Responsibilities
Support financial reporting activities in accordance with U.S. GAAP, including monthly, quarterly, and year‑end close processes.
Assist with the design, documentation, and testing of internal controls over financial reporting (SOX compliance).
Support compliance with SEC regulations and public company reporting requirements.
Participate in internal and external audit processes, including preparation of supporting schedules and documentation.
Assist with process improvements and strengthening accounting policies, procedures, and controls as the organization continues to evolve.
Partner with the Controller and broader accounting team on special projects related to compliance, integrations, and reporting.
Perform account reconciliations and variance analysis as needed.
Essential Skills
Bachelor’s degree in Accounting or Finance preferred (Associate’s degree considered with relevant experience).
2–5 years of accounting experience preferred.
Understanding of U.S. GAAP.
Analytical, organizational, and documentation skills.
Ability to work independently while collaborating with cross‑functional stakeholders.
Additional Skills & Qualifications
Exposure to SOX, internal controls, and compliance in a public or public‑company‑ready environment strongly preferred.
Background in public accounting is a plus.
Work Environment
Work hours are Monday through Friday from 8:00 a.m. to 5:00 p.m. with some flexibility.

This is a Contract to Hire position based out of Oshkosh, W.I.
Pay And Benefits
The pay range for this position is $36.00–$43.00 per hour.
