Richman Property Services, Inc. is currently seeking a full-time
Maintenance Technician
to join our dynamic team. Are you a community-inspired, passion-driven individual with a can-do attitude? If so, we want you on our team!
Position:
Maintenance Technician 1
Location:
Clear Harbor/ The Shores, our properties in Clearwater and St. Pete totaling 131 units, multi-family residential communities
(MUST be able to work at both properties and it is a 20 minute drive between properties with on call every other week)
Hours:
M-F 8:00am-5:00pm, with on-call weekend rotation
Key Qualifications
EPA I & II or EPA Universal. If you do not have your EPA, but possess the right skills and experience, RPS may sponsor (and pay) for your EPA I & II within your first 75 days on the job.
Valid Driver's License is required for this position
Minimum of 2 years of apartment maintenance experience
Bilingual English/Spanish preferred, but not required

Responsibilities
Perform daily repair and upkeep of the property
Prepare vacant units for occupancy within established deadlines
Manage service requests and ensure timely completion
Maintain compliance with OSHA standards and The Clean Air Act
Oversee inventory and care of tools and equipment
Complete required tasks such as training, logs, and reports in a timely manner
Uphold company policies and provide exceptional customer service
Seek educational opportunities for personal growth and development
Assist in property preventative maintenance plan
Collaborate on maintaining curb appeal and cleanliness of buildings and grounds
Perform on-call duties and occasional overtime
Requirements
Education:
High school diploma or GED; industry-related courses preferred
Experience:
Minimum of two (2) years of maintenance and general repair experience or Groundskeeper; Proficiency in maintenance tasks, including carpentry, electrical, plumbing, painting, etc.; Must own basic tools as allowed by state laws; Knowledge of local, state, and federal laws, including Fair Housing Laws; Strong organizational skills and ability to work independently
Skills & Certifications :
EPA Section 608 Type I and II or Universal Technician license , strongly preferred
Valid Driver's License required
Proficient in English for communication and record-keeping purposes
