Content Creator & Community Marketing Intern (Summer, College Credit Only)
Kitsby Baking Studio — SoHo, NYC

Kitsby is a culinary experience studio based in SoHo, NYC, focused on playful, hands‑on dessert experiences that bring people together. Inspired by childhood memories of baking with family, Kitsby was created to build a community where adults can reconnect, create, and play. In a world that’s more connected yet often lonelier, our goal is to create an adult playground where guests can share meaningful moments through desserts. Kitsby grew from a love of baking and a craving for connection, and we aim to make life a little more playful.
We’re looking for a
Content Creator & Community Marketing Intern
for the summer to support social media content creation and community engagement. This role is ideal for a student interested in social media, food content, and brand storytelling in a fast‑paced creative environment. We’re especially looking for someone who is
outgoing, bubbly, and passionate about baking , with a natural on‑camera presence and enthusiasm for creating engaging, personality‑driven content.
Key Responsibilities
Help manage and maintain the content calendar , including brainstorming and developing original content ideas
Create a minimum of 4 short‑form videos per week
for Instagram Reels and TikTok
Film primarily
face‑to‑camera style content
introducing classes, desserts, and studio experiences
Work closely with the
Marketing Coordinator
to align content with upcoming classes and campaigns
Capture and edit content in‑studio and behind the scenes
Cross‑post content to Instagram Reels and TikTok
Stay on top of trends and proactively pitch content ideas
Content Creation & Social Media
Concept, film, and edit short‑form video content
Translate Kitsby experiences into engaging, relatable content
Capture classes, desserts, and guest experiences
Create UGC‑style and personality‑driven content
Highlight new classes and seasonal offerings
Collaborate with the Marketing Coordinator on content direction and priorities
Community Egagement
Engage with comments and DMs on Instagram and TikTok
Respond to class‑related questions and highlight experiences
Interact with followers to build community and brand loyalty
Engage with tagged content and repost user‑generated content when appropriate
Ideal Candidate
Currently enrolled in college and eligible for
college credit internship
At least 1 year of internship or professional work experience
(marketing, social media, content creation, or related)
Comfortable
on camera
and confident creating face‑to‑camera content
Strong understanding of TikTok and Instagram content formats
Able to meet weekly content deadlines
Creative eye and strong aesthetic instincts
Passion for baking, desserts, or food content
Strong communication and organizational skills
Positive, outgoing personality suited for community‑driven brand
Comfortable working in a fast‑paced studio environment
Internship Requirements
Help manage content calendar and content pipeline
Engage with community on Instagram and TikTok
Experience filming and editing short‑form video using tools such as CapCut, Instagram Edits, or similar video editing software
Must be comfortable appearing on camera regularly
8–15 hours per week
Must be available on weekends
(primary class filming days)
Must come into the SoHo studio at least once during the week
Attend scheduled in‑studio content capture sessions
Must be able to commute to SoHo, NYC
Unlimited access to
Kitsby community events
Hands‑on experience building a brand through short‑form video
Portfolio‑ready TikTok and Instagram content
Experience in experiential marketing and food content
