
HR Generalist

Main Location
Main location: Lancaster NY. Four locations in close proximity. Must be able to drive to and service the sites; only four days on site per week, no mileage compensation.
Description
ASAP interview scheduled for 4/23 or daily thereafter.
HR Generalist works in partnership with management teams to lead HR processes including total rewards, talent management, performance management, employee engagement, wellness, learning, organizational efficiency, and employee relations.
Works closely with cross‑functional teams to achieve program and project milestones, managing risk, monitoring and reporting business objectives, and key indicators.
Defines the entity’s talent strategy, identifies and assesses talent, champions talent management practices, builds a diverse team, facilitates learning initiatives, and partners with other functions to develop teams.
Coaches local leadership teams on people matters, contributes to development initiatives, and ensures deployment of people strategy transformations, change management, organizational design, leadership, talent, wellbeing, learning, care & inclusion, and high performance.
Drives people engagement for hourly and salaried populations and ensures consistent implementation of HR policies and leadership practices.
Partners with HR shared services and HR experts (recruitment, compensation, benefits, etc.) to execute HR activities such as recruitment, induction, performance management, training, compensation analysis, succession planning, interviewing, and value‑added initiatives.
Facilitates orientation, learning, and company programs; supports hiring, interviewing, recruiting, layoffs, terminations, and reduction in force.
Manages day‑to‑day employee relations and HR questions, serving as first point of contact for hourly associates.
Provides advice on employee discipline and conflict resolution.
Facilitates HR system processes, ensures data accuracy, and analyzes data to support strategic recommendations.
Owns and leads all hourly recruitment: sourcing, coordinating interviews, hiring, onboarding.
Qualifications
Bachelor’s degree in Human Resources, Business, Management, or related discipline from an accredited university.
Minimum 2 years of experience in a manufacturing, distribution center, and/or operations environment, partnering with line managers.
Minimum 5 years experience as an HR Generalist, understanding business performance and identifying critical HR success factors across organization development, learning, compensation and rewards, talent management, and industrial relations.
Interest in learning, creativity, problem‑solving, and supporting the business.
Authorized to work in the United States.
