Our client,
a leader in the energy industry , is looking to hire a
Human Resources Generalist.
This role will be onsite 4x per week in Lancaster, NY.
*This job is a 4-month W2 contract role with benefits!*
As a
Human Resources Generalist,
you will
support various HR teams within the organization, including total rewards, talent management, performance management, employee engagement, wellness, learning, organizational efficiency, and employee relations.
What You'll Be Doing
Manage daily employee relations and HR related questions
leveraging internal service model,
acting as the first point of contact for all hourly associates
Support talent management initiatives
for hourly associates, including
recruitment, hiring, talent assessment, performance management, developing succession plans, and reduction in workforce
Facilitate new-hire orientation and learning initiatives
across various sites,
contributing to skills, resources, and processes development
Provide advice concerning matters with employee discipline and conflict resolution
Required Skills & Experience
2+ years of experience in Human Resources
supporting manufacturing, distribution, and/or operations, or
5+ years of experience as an HR Generalist
Excellent
problem-solving and critical thinking skills
to
analyze complex situations
and provide sound judgment
Ability to deliver difficult messages with tact and diplomacy
while maintaining a focus on the best outcome for all parties involved
Desired Skills & Experience
Bachelor’s degree in HR or related field
Experience in a high-volume, fast paced environment, managing large caseload
Prior manufacturing, operations, or distribution industry experience preferred!
